In the current educational context, promoting scientific thinking and motivation towards Natural Sciences has become a significant challenge. The present research aims to implement a didactic strategy for the development of scientific thinking and motivation for Natural Sciences using Gamification. A single-group pre-experimental study was carried out. Participants performed gamified Natural Sciences activities. The total sample was 40 fourth-grade students of Basic General Education (EGB) at the Eloy Ortega Soto Educational Unit. The results showed that students had a significant increase in active participation and time spent on Natural Sciences activities. Students demonstrated a notable improvement in the application of the scientific method and in problem solving. As qualitative results, an increase in motivation and a greater interest in Natural Sciences was evident. The findings of this study suggest that curricula should consider gamification as a valuable tool for teaching Natural Sciences. Future research could explore the application of gamification at other educational levels and in different contexts to validate and expand these results.
