La motivación por el aprendizaje de lenguas mediante juegos relacionados con el medioambiente

La motivación se conoce como la aspiración de conseguir algo que se desea mucho. En el estudio de una segunda lengua, la motivación desempeña un papel importante porque los alumnos pueden sentirse libres, seguros e inspirados para hablar y estudiar el idioma. Sin embargo, los juegos también pueden inspirar a los alumnos a estudiar idiomas y ofrecerles el beneficio de aprender un idioma mientras se divierten. Por otro lado, los juegos relacionados con el medio ambiente también son bastante beneficiosos para desarrollar un conocimiento medioambiental y valores medioambientales en los alumnos. En este sentido, el objetivo principal de este artículo es aumentar la motivación para el aprendizaje de idiomas a través de juegos relacionados con el medio ambiente en las clases de inglés que apoyan el interés del estudiante y una buena actitud para aprender un nuevo idioma. Para la conformación de esta investigación, se aplicaron varios métodos científicos de diferentes niveles. La propuesta fomenta la motivación al estudio de un nuevo idioma a través de juegos lingüísticos relacionados con el medioambiente. Permite a los alumnos seguir aprendiendo una nueva lengua mientras adquieren valores ambientales. Especialmente, cuando el cuidado del medio ambiente es muy importante hoy en día.

ABSTRACT
Motivation is known as the aspiration to achieve something that you highly desire. In the study of a second language motivation takes an important role because students can feel free, confidence and inspirited to speak and study the language. However, games can also inspire students to study languages and offer the benefit of learning a language while enjoying the process. On the other hand, environment-related games are also quite beneficial to develop an environmental knowledge and environmental values in the students. In that sense, the main objective of this article is to enhancing motivation to language learning through environment-related games in English lessons to support student’s interest and a good attitude to learn a new language. For the conformation of this research, several scientific methods were applied from different levels. The proposal fosters the motivation to the study of a new language through linguistic games related to environmental issues. It allows students to continue learning a new language while they acquired environmental values. Especially, when taking care the environment is quite important nowadays
