Primeros auxilios psicológicos en Educación Superior: una herramienta esencial para docentes universitarios

Resumen

La salud mental estudiantil exige respuestas universitarias tempranas, accesibles y articuladas. Este estudio analizó sistemáticamente la evidencia disponible en Scopus y PubMed sobre fundamentos, modalidades formativas, resultados, limitaciones e implicaciones de los Primeros Auxilios Psicológicos en educación superior, especialmente para docentes. Se aplicaron PRISMA 2020 y el marco PCC. De 142 registros identificados, se eliminaron 10 duplicados, se cribaron 132 documentos, se evaluaron 40 textos y se incluyeron 25 estudios publicados entre 2017 y 2026. La evidencia mostró que las capacitaciones, principalmente aquellas que combinaron teoría, simulación, práctica guiada y retroalimentación, mejoraron conocimientos, confianza, competencia percibida, autoeficacia y preparación ante crisis; algunos estudios también informaron beneficios psicológicos. Sin embargo, predominaron muestras pequeñas, autoinformes, diseños sin control y seguimientos breves. Se concluye que los docentes pueden reconocer riesgos, ofrecer apoyo inicial y facilitar derivaciones, siempre mediante protocolos institucionales, supervisión profesional y servicios especializados capaces de asegurar continuidad asistencial y seguimiento oportuno.
