This article examines the relationship between mentoring and the emotional health of teachers in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ) during the 2023-2024 academic period. Mentoring is implied as a key strategy to improve self-esteem and develop the emotional intelligence of teachers in the field of nursing, a discipline that requires strong emotional competencies due to its educational and care nature. This is an applied study with a mixmo approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies to assess the emotional health of teachers and their ability to cope with emotional challenges in the academic environment.
