Rapid technological evolution has generated the need for organizations to adopt strategies to improve their competitiveness. In fact, the evolution of administrative skills requires companies to adapt to technological changes in the current era. It also requires staff to be proactive in a competitive labor market by effectively contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives. Based on the above, the purpose of this research was to analyze the evolution of digital skills that future managers must acquire and their impact on business performance. To this end, the research was based on a qualitative approach with a longitudinal design, using a documentary review to examine the evolution of training and digital skills over time, and their implication on managers' job performance. The results indicated that digital skills strengthen managers' capacity for strategic decision-making and organizational development. In fact, managers who have acquired these skills have a greater capacity to adapt to technological advances and lead innovation processes. The research concluded that future managers must acquire and develop these skills throughout their careers to contribute to business success and professional growth within organizations. To achieve this, the implementation of appropriate training strategies must be promoted to address the challenges arising from digitalization in today's work environment.
