ICTs, secondary learning, educational impactAbstract
This systematic review article aimed to analyze the scientific literature on the impact of ICTs on secondary school students' learning. The methodology employed consisted of an exhaustive search of academic databases, followed by the application of inclusion and exclusion criteria to select relevant empirical studies. The results of the review revealed that ICTs have a multifaceted impact on secondary learning, positively influencing motivation, engagement, and the development of digital skills. However, their effect on academic performance is complex and significantly depends on the pedagogical strategy and the type of technology used. In conclusion, the effective integration of ICTs in secondary education requires a thoughtful approach that prioritizes pedagogy and considers the various factors that modulate their impact to optimize learning outcomes.
