In the article presented, the authors address how, in modern times, it is necessary to develop in university students those aspects that lead them toward the development of feelings and emotions, in a way that contributes to their emotional well-being. It was also noted that positive emotions generate a greater willingness and openness to learning, increasing their intrinsic motivation and commitment to their chosen career, as well as strengthening society as a whole. This translates into better academic performance and greater enjoyment of the educational process. Finally, it is essential to educate university students not only on the basis of knowledge and cognitive skills, but also on an emotional level, to develop a more complete vision of their work as future professionals. The objective guiding this work was to develop a proposal for teaching tasks oriented toward the development of emotions and feelings in students, based on the reading of lyrical texts in which the national landscape is present.
