Teaching family law requires pedagogical strategies that foster a comprehensive understanding of the legal and emotional dimensions of marital dissolution. This educational approach seeks not only to convey normative knowledge but also to cultivate empathy, professional ethics, and mediation skills in future legal practitioners. Training in family conflict resolution should be based on active methodologies that combine case analysis, collaborative learning, and simulated hearings, enabling students to develop practical abilities in argumentation, negotiation, and conciliation. Likewise, legal education must incorporate interdisciplinary perspectives from psychology, sociology, and communication to address the emotional and social complexity of dissolution processes. Contemporary legal education, oriented toward restorative justice, should promote an integral formation that blends technical expertise with human sensitivity, encouraging a professional practice centered on dialogue, equity, and the protection of rights. This comprehensive approach strengthens legal education and contributes to building a more empathetic and just society.
