In the context of this research, motivation is understood as a psychological construct that explains why people initiate, maintain, or abandon certain activities. Various authors have described it as the energy that drives individuals to act, linking internal factors (such as interests, values, and personal satisfaction) with external factors (such as rewards, recognition, or social pressure). School motivation should be understood as an essential factor in the teaching-learning process, as it forms the basis for active student participation and their willingness to achieve academic goals. Recognizing its importance and implementing strategies to strengthen it represents both a challenge and an opportunity for teachers, who have the power to transform the educational experience into a more enriching and effective process. In this sense, motivation is not only a pedagogical resource but also an indispensable component for ensuring meaningful and lasting learning.
