La investigación educativa desempeña un papel muy importante para la resolución de los problemas y desafíos que existen en los diferentes contextos sociales, en el cumplimiento de las políticas educativas y para lograr el perfeccionamiento de los sistemas educativos.
En el contexto educativo la investigación y la intervención son procesos interrelacionados que no coexisten de forma separada, pues no se puede investigar sin intervenir y a la vez no se puede intervenir sin obtener una transformación en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
La Universidad Pablo Latapí Sarre, tiene el gusto de presentarle a la comunidad científica y académica de México y el mundo la Revista Mexicana de Investigación e Intervención Educativa. La revista es una publicación científica arbitrada que tiene el objetivo de contribuir al desarrollo de las ciencias de la educación en instituciones educativas de educación superior: nacionales, latinoamericanas y del mundo.
Cuenta con una frecuencia cuatrimestral y se publica en los meses de abril, agosto y diciembre. Los artículos que publica son inéditos, de corte teórico y/o empírico, que abordan la problemática educativa de manera interdisciplinaria.
La revista divulga sus contribuciones a partir de la filosofía de Acceso Abierto (Open Access), donde el conocimiento es libre tanto en su difusión como en su acceso. Asimismo, provee ingreso libre e inmediato a su contenido bajo el principio de hacer disponible, gratuitamente, la investigación y fomentar el intercambio de conocimiento de manera global.
El consejo editorial de la Revista para la selección de los artículos que publica, se apoya en el método de Revisión por Pares Abierta (Open Peer Review). Todo ello, en función de garantizar la calidad de su contenido. La intención y el esfuerzo del consejo editorial es convertir esta publicación en referencia obligada de investigadores y docentes que deseen elevar su nivel científico en las ciencias de la educación.
