Parental involvement is recognized as a key factor in educational processes, especially in primary education, where students require constant support for their academic, social, and behavioral development. This study aimed to analyze the effects of family involvement on school behavior, considering education as a shared process between family and school. A mixed-methods approach with a descriptive-correlational design was used, with the participation of students, teachers, and parents from a public primary school. Questionnaires were administered to parents, a school behavior scale was used, and teachers were interviewed. The analysis combined descriptive and correlational statistics, as well as qualitative categorization. The results show a predominantly moderate level of parental involvement, with support in homework being particularly prominent. A positive relationship was identified between parental involvement and school behavior, associated with respect for rules, positive coexistence, and academic participation. Furthermore, family-school communication and monitoring at home act as preventive factors against disruptive behaviors. It is concluded that parental involvement is crucial in comprehensive education and in improving school coexistence, highlighting the need to strengthen co-responsibility in education.
